Abstract
Objective:To understand early stage breast cancer patients’quality of life and its influencing factors in perioperative period.Methods:259 patients with early stage breast cancer in perioperative period from a gen-eral hospital of Shanghai city were questionnaire by the quality of life questionnaire (QLQ C30)(Chinese ver-sion),which was developed by European Organization for research on treatment of cancer (EORTC),and the breast cancer patient specific scale (QLQ BR23)(Chinese version).Results:The total score of overall quality of life (61.42±18.75 points)on patients with early stage breast cancer in perioperative period is at a medium level (compared with reference values provided by the EORTC).The highest score of EORTC QLQ 30 scale is the cognitive function (86.36± 1 6.42 points);the highest score of QLQ BR23 scale is figure (75.68 ± 25.73 points).Different age groups (P =0.031)and different payment methods (P <0.001)differed on the life quality of patients with early stage breast cancer in perioperative period;there was a statistically significant difference between different operative approaches in economic difficulties (P =0.014),physical (P =0.010),roles (P =0.012), the body (P <0.001)and arm symptoms (P <0.001);lymph node surgery methods are significantly different in shape (P = 0.005)and arm (P =0.047).Conclusion:The life quality of patients with early stage breast cancer in perioperative period is at a medium level.The main factors affecting quality of life are including age,method of payment,and lymph node surgery.关键词
