Influence of cognitive behavioral intervention on quality of life and psychological state of bladder carcinoma patients undergoing urinary diversion abdominal stoma

Abstract
Objective:To probe into the effect of cognitive behavioral intervention for bladder carcinoma patients undergoing urinary diversion abdominal stoma.Methods:A total of 60 cases of bladder carcinoma patients under-going urinary diversion abdominal stoma were divided into observation group and control group based on ran-dom number table,30 cases in each.The patients in control group received usual care,besides that the patients in observation group received cognitive behavioral intervention.The quality of life scale (QLQ C30),Self Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS)and Self rating Depression Scale (SDS)were used for evaluation and comparison of the quality of life and mental health between both groups of patients before and after the intervention,and to inves-tigate their nursing satisfaction.Results:After the intervention,the quality of life in observation group was sig-nificantly higher,SDS and SAS scores were significantly lower than that in control group,patients’nursing sat-isfaction rate was significantly higher and the difference was statistically significant (all P <0.01 ).Conclusion:The cognitive behavioral intervention for the bladder carcinoma patients undergoing urinary diversion abdominal stoma can improve their quality of life and mental health,improve nursing satisfaction of the patients.关键词
