Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the effect of infiltration resin on the labial white spot lesions of anterior teeth after orthodontic treatment. Method:179 teeth with white spot lesions from 32 patient,and divided into A,B,C groups based on ICDAS criterion,and treated with infiltration resin. The teeth were examined immediate,one week and one year after the treatment. Result:There were significant difference among the three groups after infiltration resin treatment (ANOVA and Duncan test,P<0.01). The difference were insignificant before,one week or one year after the treatment(P=0.91). Conclu-sion:The infiltration resin treatment was effective for the white spot lesion at the early caries and could enhance the aesthetic appearance,which was stable after one-year recall. This investigation demonstrates ICDAS criterion as both a highly clinic-feasible and efficient method for caries grading.关键词
