摘要

Abstract

Objective:The clinical effect was observed on the restoration of residual molar using two lithium silicate occlusul-distal (OD)onlay by computer aided design and manufacture (CAD/CAM). Method:The clinical case was a patient with one residual molar,which was with large defect and in root canal treatment completely. The method of restoration was carried out with two lithium silicate OD onlay by CAD/CAM. The assessment of clinical effect was made after a year according to modified United States Public Health Service(USPHS)standard. Result:The result in review stage showed that there was no undesirable effects occurred in the restoration,such as fall off,fracture and cleavage. Clinical indexes had up to class A. Conclusion:Better clinical effect can be achieved in treating molar with large defects using two lithium silicate OD onlay by CAD/CAM,but the long-term follow-up result still had to be further observed.
