Natural dyes and their dyeing(to be continued)
摘要
Abstract
The history of natural dyes dates back to 3000 years ago when natural dyes had been applied in dyeing. In 150 BC, three primary colors of natural dyes had been combined for different colors. In the mid-19th century, synthetic dyes marked a new epoch and natural dyes died gradually. Due to green environmental protection of natural dyes, the research of natural dyes extraction and dyeing was gained attention again thirty years ago. This paper introduces some natural dyes and their chemical structures as well as ancient and modern dyeing methods of natural dyes. According to chemical structure and dyeing method, natural dyes are classified to modern dyes classification.关键词
