Optimization of calcium gluconate production by Aspergillus niger with response surface methodology

摘要

Abstract

We optimized calcium gluconate production from sodium gluconate by Aspergillus niger. We studied the effects of pH, culture time, concentration of Ca( OH) 2 on calcium gluconate yield by temary quadratic regression orthogonal experiment. The optimum conditions obtained by Matlab software were:17 h culture time, pH at 5�3, and 20% Ca( OH) 2 , under which calcium gluconate yield was 87�33%.
