Effect of GnRH antagonist on extrapituitary tissues and its clinical application
摘要
Abstract
Recently, GnRH antagonists are commonly used in controlled ovarian stimulation ( COS ) for pituitary suppression. It can prevent early LH surge during COS to reduce cycle cancellation rate. GnRH and its receptors have been detected in numerous extrapituitary tissues. Because of the blockage of extrapituitary GnRH receptor by GnRH antagonists, GnRH antagonists can affect molecular and cellular events required for successful pregnancy,e. g. adequate follicular recruitment and maturation,and endometrial receptivity. However,there is no unified conclusion from related research. The exact effects of GnRH antagonists on extrapituitary tissues still need to be further studied,which may help to improve the result of clinical COS and the chance of embryo implantation.关键词
