Abstract
Objective To assess the application of laparoscopic resection of gastric stromal tumor and the results. Methods There were 25 patients with gastric stromal tumor who underwent laparoscopic resection and 23 patients by conventional open surgery in Shanghai and Jiangsu two hospital from Nov 2006 to May 2015. The data were retrospectively analyzed. Results It was diagnosed after surgery that 44 patients were benign and 4 patients malignant. Laparoscopic surgery was successful for all 25 patients underwent with operation time (75.6 ±24.3) min and blood loss (19.3±14.3)mL and hospital stay (6.2±1.3)days. The operation time for open surgery was (123.0±41.1) min and blood loss (164.0±61.6)mL and hospital stay (10.3±3.4)days. There was significant difference statistically for all these parameters with less operative time, less blood loss and shorter hospital stay postoperative ( P<0.05). Conclusions Laparoscopic resection of gastric stromal tumor has the advantages of less trauma, fast recovery and better effect, which is valuable in treatment of gastric stromal tumor.关键词
