Abstract
Objective To elvaluate the efficiency of heterogeneous acellular dermal matrix in the prevention of the Frey's syndrome after parotidectomy and put it in the clinic.MethodsBy means of retrospective analysis,32 patients with benign parotid tumors were divided into two groups according to their accepted treatment: the control group (n=20) and the observation group (n=12). The questionnaire and minor starch-iodion test were done to elvaluate the incidence of the Frey's syndrome.ResultsAll patients were followed up lasting 12 to 18 months. One of 12 (8.5%)in experiment group,13 of 20 (65.0%) in control group had subjective symptoms of Frey ’s syndrome. There was signiifcant difference between the two groups(P<0.05). By Minor’s starch iodine test,0 (0%) cases in experimental group and 16 (80.0%) cases in contro1 group had objective symptoms. The difference between the two groups was signiifcantly statistical (P<0.05).Conclusion Transplantation of heterogeneous acellular dermal matrix can efifciently prevent Frey's syndrome after parotidectomy.关键词
