Abstract
Ernest Hemingway’s short story “In Another Country” constructs the spatial relationship between the textual and realistic spaces, and that of the psychological space and the space in the future , by narrating a story of a group of wounded soldiers being treated in a hospital.It moves from the representation of the cruelty of war in reality, to the delicate portray of the psychology of the inner space,and eventually to the visualization of the future space.With concise dictions and narrations, it catches a slice of the panoramic society, the temporality of psychological space, and the uncertainty of the future space, and thus constructs a move-able spatial relationship between the text and multi-spaces.关键词
