Abstract
It is an effective method to convert the mechanical energy from environment vibration into electric energy by utilizing the piezoelectric effect of piezoelectric element. Effectively extracting the accumulated charges from the surface of the piezoelectric element is the key for energy harvesting system. Hence,it is especially important to de⁃sign high efficient charge extraction circuit. This paper presents a self-powered optimized synchronous charge ex⁃traction circuit(SP-OSCE). Two passive peak detector circuits including positive and negative peak detectors are employed to detect the extreme vibration displacement and extract energy at the extreme vibration displacement. The proposed circuit employs the component reuse method for the rectifier circuit and extrema detection circuit so that the traditional rectifier bridge structure is avoided. The circuit not only extracts the charges in clamped capaci⁃tance but also collects the charges in detection capacitance so that the energy conversion efficiency is improved. Multisim based simulation results show the efficiency and advantages compared with the published results. Further, the physical experiment is carried out and the experimental tests verify the simulation results.关键词
