Abstract
Objective To study the status and influencing factors of spontaneous abortion of women along Kui River.Methods Women aged 40-70 along Kui River were interviewed on their reproductive history and related influencing factors from 2012 to 2013.Results There were 4438 women in the study with a total number of 14418 pregnancies, including 587 spontaneous abortive episodes.Ratio between spontaneous abortion and pregnancies was 4.07%, spontaneous abortion rate (SAR) was 4.40%, and the proportion of women who had experienced spontaneous abortion accounted for 10.23%.Logistic regression analysis indicated that passive smoking prior to pregnancy, drinking before pregnancy, amount of lampblack in cooking, being easy to get angry and poor sleep would increase the risk of spontaneous abortion (OR value was 1.28, 1.33, 1.44, 1.46 and 1.37, respectively, and 95%CI ranged 1.03-1.61, 1.01-1.77, 1.08-1.92, 1.16-1.84 and 1.07-1.74, respectively).Number of pregnancy was the important cause of spontaneous abortion.With the increase of the number of pregnancies, the risk of spontaneous abortion would increase.The women who had more than 3 pregnancies had the highest risk of spontaneous abortion (OR=31.54,95%CI:17.88-55.64).Conclusion The spontaneous abortion rate of women along Kui River is high.The risk factors of spontaneous abortion include passive smoking, drinking before pregnancy, large amount of lampblack in cooking, being easy to get angry and poor sleep status.关键词
