AGEs介导的糖尿病肾损伤机制及二甲双胍的干预作用
Mechanisms of diabetic nephropathy mediated by AGEs and effects of metformin intervention
摘要
Abstract
Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is one of the common chronic microvascular complications of diabetes mellitus (DM). High expression of advanced glycation products (AGEs) during high glucose conditions involved in the occurrence and development of diabetic nephropathy by inducing renal oxidative stress and endoplasmic reticulum stress (ERS). Metformin is one of the drugs used widely for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Many evidences demonstrated that metformin not only can control glycemic, but also inhibit the production of AGEs and oxidative stress. Studying the relationship between AGES and diabetic nephropathy can help further understand the pathogenesis of diabetic nephropathy, and make some important guideline for DN treatment.关键词
