Abstract
Objective: To investigate the influencing factors on recurrence of benign paroxysmal positional verti-go(BPPV) after repositioning maneuver. Methods: Two hundred BPPV patients were enrolled and then treated with repositioning maneuver. The vertigo recurrence within30 days, 60 days and90 days were calculated, and the influencing factors on recurrence were analyzed. Results: There were 183 patients finished 90 days follow-up. There were significant differences in age, BPPV duration, episodes numbers betweenthe recurrent group and non-recurrent group (P<0.001). Multivariate logistic regressionshowed that BPPV duration (OR=2.171, 95%CI 1.194~3.946, P=0.011) and times of repositioning maneuver≥10 (OR=3.108, 95%CI 1.254~7.702, P=0.014) were independent factors onrecurrence. Conclusion: Recurrence numbers of BPPV patients gradually increasedover the post cure time.关键词
