摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the protective effect and mechanisms of Sodium Ferulate ( SF) on rats with myocardial ischemia/reperfusion ( MI/R) injury. Methods A total of 40 SD rats were randomly divided into sham oper-ation group (n=10), model group (n=10), high-dose SF group (40 mg/kg, n=10) and low-dose SF group (20 mg/kg, n=10). Rat models of MI/R injury was prepared by ligation of ramus descendens anterior arteriae coronariae sinis-trae for 30 min followed by 2 h reperfusion. The hearts were obtained after successful model establishment, and the areas of myocardial infarction were calculated, and the intercellular cell adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) and nuclear factor-κB ( NF-κB) expressions and myeloperoxidase ( MPO) activities in myocardial tissues were detected. Results The areas of myocardial infarction in high-dose and low-dose SF groups were less than that in the model group (P<0. 05, P<0. 01). The values of MPO activity, ICAM-1 and NF-κB positive rates in the model group were significantly higher than those in sham operation group, and the values in high-dose and low-dose SF groups were significantly lower than those in the mod-el group (P<0. 05, P<0. 01). Conclusion The SF may protect MI/R injury by inhibiting neutrophil infiltration and inflammatory reaction and down regulating NF-κB and ICAM-1 expressions.关键词
