摘要

Abstract

To discuss the inlfuence of pre-stress on the rivet shear mechanical properties , the pre-stressed and non pre-stressed numerical simulation with a aviation manufacturing commonly used rivet using the ifnite element software ABAQUS were carried out. To verify the feasibility of simulation method, the dynamic shear tests were carried out by using the split Hopkinson tension bar. The result shows that, the shear strength of the rivet will increase because of the pre-stress. The inlfuence of pre-stress should be taken into account when using ifnite element method to study the mechanical properties of rivets.
