摘要

Abstract

Yugu 24 was bred by Anyang Academy of Agricultural Sciences with An 8023 as female parent and SK384 with herbicide-resistance as male parent,through sexual hybridization and additive selection in Hainan. It was a new summer millet variety with good quality,high yield and herbicide-resistance. Yugu 24 was rated as "second grade good quality rice" in national ninth edible millet quality selection. The growth period of Yugu 24 was 94 d,the plant height was 110 cm,the lodging resistance belonged to first level,and the resistance to rust and blast belonged to first level. In foxtail millet variety regional tests of Henan province in 2011—2012,its average yield was 4623. 9 kg/ha,increased by 2. 37% compared with the control Yugu 9. In foxtail millet variety production demonstration trials of Henan province in 2014,its average yield was 5143. 0 kg/ha. Yugu 24 obtained Henan crop vatiety identification certificate in April 2015. It was suitable for sowing in spring and summer in Henan province.
