On the Levelized Cost of Energy in the Development of Ocean Energy Devices
摘要
Abstract
In recent years,the ocean energy utilization and exploration has been one of the renew-able energy topics and the research points have been focused on power generation devices.Howev-er,the high cost is one of the factors that restricts the development of ocean energy technology.In the field of new energy power generation,levelized cost of energy (LCOE)approach has been usu-ally adopted to compare energy projects of different power generation technology and scale.Tak-ing references of lessons from the LCOE calculation mode to guide and promote the development of marine renewable energy technology and industry is of great significance.This paper expounded the influence factors of Ocean Energy LCOE,and took wave energy and tidal current energy as examples to introduce the method of development cost calculation in the UK and the USA.The possibility of reducing energy costs was then discussed and advices for power generation devices in China were also provided in the paper.关键词
