摘要

Abstract

We propose a virtual machine scheduling algorithm based on energy consumption ( VMSA_EA) for high energy con-sumption problem in cloud data center.The algorithm not only considers how to reduce energy consumption, but also considers how to reduce the cost of virtual machine migration.The virtual machine scheduling in cloud data center is divided into two stages by using VMSA_EA algorithm:virtual machine deployment and virtual machine migration.In different stages we use different al-gorithms to solve it.Experimental results show that VMSA_EA can schedule and manage effectively and VMSA_EA can better re-duce energy consumption and the cost of virtual machine migration compared to other similar algorithms.
