Design of Power Factor Correction Circuit for High Power Switching Power Supply

摘要

Abstract

In order to suppress and eliminate the pollution of harmonic wave to the public power grid, the power factor correction circuit is needed to be added to the entrance of the electric equipment.It can not only improve the power factor of the circuit but also provide a stable DC voltage for the post level cir-cuit.For the high power switching power supply,the boost circuit of APFC is adopted as the main topolo-gy diagram.The APFC circuit is designed based on UC3854BN.The principle of UC3854BN and APFC is analyzed.The design flow of the main power circuit is provided.Finally,the Candence/Pspice software is used to simulate the whole system and verify that the system has a high power factor by experiments.
