An Application Of Architectural Research Method-- An Investigation Of The Rural Houses’Thermal Comfort

Abstract
When it comes to architectural research methods, there are always ful of discussions such as the relationship between theory and design and which of them should be dominant. The book named Architectural Research Methods writen by Linda Groat and David Wang, systematicaly introduces the basics of architectural theory and research methods. This essay is combined with an investigation report about the rural houses’ thermal comfort for local residents in the area with cold winter and scorching summer. Furthermore, it ilustrates some general concepts in architectural research. Therefore, it is supposed to show a perception of the relationship between research theory and practices.关键词
