Abstract
Rapid urbanization has made great impacts on the traditional appearance of vernacular rural houses in China. And for various financial conditions, the standardized design scheme can hardly be put into practice in housing renewal projects. Taking Xichong as an example, this paper firstly analyzes the local architectural features, and then proposes the “menu-typed” renewal ideas so that the larger-scale rural housing renewal projects can be realized with the wel-conserved traditional appearance.关键词
