Abstract
Steel rope of the gantry crane is wearable.With investigating and research on the damage condition of steel rope during use,it’s found that the part of the steel rope that should be discarded according to the standard first is within the main lifting height of the front section.To deal with such situation,a steel rope storage area is set on the rope lifting coiling block to improve effective service life of the steel rope and reduce the maintenance cost for the enterprise.The loss reduction measures are widely applied in large-scale gantry cranes of the port.关键词
