摘要

Abstract

The deepwater channel construction phase Ⅲ project of the Yangtze estuary has been acceptance checked in March 2010, the deepwater channel would be extended upward to Dangxi Gate of Taicang by the end of 2010. In order to maximize the comprehensive benefits of 12.5 m deepwater channel regulation project and achieved seamless connection with 12.5 m deepwater channel as soon as possible in Yangtze estuary, it is very nec?essary to implement the project of 12.5 m deepwater channel extends upward to Nantong, and an important work is to determine the channel design parameters. Based on the representative ship scale determination, through the anal?ysis of channel design width, depth and tidal characteristics of the project area, the channel design parameters were determined in this paper. On the basis of the above studies, tide level use and riding tide probability under one and two models were investigated respectively. Navigation standards research can provide technical support for rational tide level use, dredging amount decrease and channel transit capacity improvement.
