The Misplacement of Paladin’ s Characters in Historical Records and History of Han Dynasty---Additionally Discussing Differences of Historical Consciousness between Sima Qian and Ban Gu
摘要
Abstract
Sima Qian believed that the“paladin” was a symbol of justice and a kind of supplement? to the lack of national jus⁃tice. Sima Qian looked forward to a special external force burst the hierarchical system maintain social justice.The paladin’s charac⁃teristics of force let him become an executor of justice. In order to maintain individual life, Sima Qian stressed? paladin’ s force and the spirits of sacrifice themselves to protect others. In order to maintain the national order, Ban Gu intended to confuse the concept?between morality, justice and violence, and highlighted the violence? of paladin, and his aim is to restrain its development.关键词
