Is He “the Dangerous Man” or “the Enterprising Person”?---Reinterpretation of Su Qin in Historical Records
摘要
Abstract
Su Qin, who has been debased as” the dangerous man” in history, has also called himself “the enterprising per⁃son”. He showed the enterprising spirit and reflected “the principles of enterprising spirit”. “Gou Jin” was its essence and it was generally followed by political strategists in the Warring States Period. The formation of“the principles of enterprising spirit” reflec⁃ted the strong demand for them to seek fame and the prevailing ideas of“talent as the primary” in troubled times. In addition, it lay the underlying hidden danger for the decline of political strategists in the Warring States Period;at the same time, it also plays a key role in the realization of their self-value. A comprehensive interpretation of this principle is conducive to in-depth understanding and even re-understanding Su Qin’ s ideological quality and historical contributions.关键词
