基于形态滤波和小波变换的红外背景抑制算法研究
The Research of Infrared Background Suppression Algorithm Based on Morphological Filter and Wavelet Transform

Abstract
A key technique in infrared monitoring alarm system is infrared background suppression. A kind of infrared dim-small target background suppression algorithm is proposed by using morphological filtering Top-hat transform combined with discrete wavelet transform ( DWT) . First, the infrared image is processed by morphological filter, and then extracts the image multi-scale information by wavelet decomposition, through the nonlinear fuzzy enhancement operator for the high frequency sub-bands of each decomposition level respectively non-linear enhancement to change the characteristics of target and suppress background signal in⁃tensity. Finally the changing scale coefficient is used to reconstruct to achieve the goal of background suppression. The experimental results show that the algorithm can well restrain background and save the target signal.关键词
