简论任继愈图书馆建设思想
Ren Jiyu’ s Thoughts on Library Construction
摘要
Abstract
During Mr. Ren Jiyu’ s assuming the office of curator of the National Library, he devoted great efforts into the devel⁃opment and progress of the National Library, and made great contribution. He proposed lots of important, insightful, professional and constructive suggestions and ideas, such as, library’ s service should not be only for readers, but for authors as well, and it should be a bridge between readers and authors;library should pay great attention to informal academic publications collection;com⁃piling a reference book is a valid form of communication between readers and authors;unique copies of ancient books should be fully appreciated or exploited;compiling documentation of the literature should be done first;reference should index and made accessible to researchers;the value of books is not being relics, but for using. Above ideas enable China library construction a new step further and present important references for Chinese culture development.关键词
