摘要

Abstract

On the basis of ZigBee technology,GPS positioning and tracking technology,and remote wireless communica⁃tion technology,a system without manual intervention which can automatically monitor the cattle quantity and cattle position on the grassland was designed. A strategy to improve the system monitoring accuracy is proposed. The system can solve the problem of remote cattle quantity statistics for herdsmen,and acquire the latitude and longitude data by means of GPS technology. Ac⁃cording to these data,the journey of the cattle in their growth process is estimated,which provides the indirect proof for realiza⁃tion of the grassland free⁃ranging cattle.
