Abstract
Objective To investigate the influence of folic acid and its compound preparations on carotid atherosclerosis in H-type hypertension patients. Methods Totally 273 outpatients or inpatients with H-type hypertensions in our hospital from May to December 2013 were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into the enalaprilat group (90 cases),enalapri-lat folic acid group(91 cases) and enalaprilat folic acid fixed compound group(92 cases). The congestive vascular diameter change rate(FMD) mediated by brachial artery was used to evaluate the vascular endothelial function. The carotid intima media thickness (IMT) was used to evaluate the atherosclerosis degree. Then the changes of blood pressure ,homocysteine (Hcy),hs-CRP,FMD and IMT were observed before treatment and at 6,12,24 months after treatment. Results The Hcy and hs-CRP levels after 6-month treatment in the enalaprilat folic acid group and enalaprilat folic acid fixed compound group were lower than before treat-ment and those in the enalaprilat group ,while the FMD level was higher before treatment and that in the enalaprilat group;with the treatment time increase,the changes of above indicators were more obvious,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the Hcy,hs-CRP and IMT levels after 24-month treatment in the enalaprilat folic acid fixed compound group were lower than those in the enalaprilat folic acid group ,while the FMD level was higher than that in enalaprilat folic acid group with statisti-cally significant difference(P<0.05). Conclusion The enalapril and folic acid fixed compound preparation may better reduce the serum Hcy level,improve the vascular endothelial function,inhibit the inflammatory reaction,thus delay the occurrence of atherosclerosis.关键词
