摘要

Abstract

Magnetic Seizure Therapy (MST) is a new brain modulation method. In this paper, we reviewed the history of electroconvulsive therapy, and the inevitability of MST. The comparison between the MST and electroconvulsive therapy was made and the key technologies on the MST were addressed. Finally, the development direction of the MST was pointed out, the magnetic seizure therapy will take place of the electroconvulsive therapy for the treatment of brain disorder.
