Abstract
Objective To investigate the recurrence rate and corneal epithelial repair time after pterygium excision and corneal contact lens.Methods Choose 210 both eyes onset pterygium patients in First People's Hospital of Jiujiang from January 2013~January 2015 , pterygium located in the nasal and grow into the cornea 3~5mm.Pterygium excision and amniotic membrane transplantation operation were done in both eyes, randomly selected one eye as group A(210eyes),another eye whith Corneal bandage lens after operation as group B(210eyes).Watch and record corneal epithelial repair time and pain in both eyes ,1,3,5 and 7 days after operation.OCT check corneal epithelial repair time, Pain value adopt Visual analogue scale(VAS), corneal staining decide corneal epithelial was repaired or not. Referral at 1,3and 6 months after operation,then referral every 6 months till 2 years after operation to observe the effect and relapse.Results Pain value of group B is lower than group A 1,3,5,7days after operation.Corneal epithelial repair of group B is faster than group A,3,5,7days after operation, There was statistical significance ( <0.01);. Postoperative follow-up found the recurrence rate of group A and group B are lower than pterygium excision.There is no significiantly difference in two groups.That means corneal contact lens doesn't increase the recurrence rate of pterygium. Conclusion The recurrence rate and pain value is low, corneal epithelial repair time is short after pterygium excision with amniotic membrane transplantation and corneal contact lens.关键词
