Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Montelukast combined with Budesonide in the treatment of children`s cough variant asthma.Methods The PubMed,EMBASE, CENTRAL, CBM and CNKI were searched up from established to March, 2014 , to find the clinical random controlled trials of Montelukast combined with Budesonide for the disease of children with cough variant asthma, references and dates were filtered and extracted by researchers literature,and meta analysis with RevMan 5.0. Results 19 clinical trials with 1357 cases were included in total. 812 patients were in Montelukast combined with Budesonide group, 792 patients were control group. Meta analysis indicated that the clinical efficiency, lung function(FEV1、PEF)and the recurrent rate after follow-up in the experimental group were superior to the control group and the differences were statistically significant ( <0.01). Although there were no statistically significant ( =0.21)between the two groups in adverse reaction, there was no seriously adverse effect. Conclusion Montelukast combined with Budesonide can improve the clinical efficiency and lung function and reduce recurrence rate for children with cough variant asthma, in addition, there were no obviously adverse reactions after its treatment. However, it is necessary to carry out more multi center, high quality, large sample, prospective, randomized, double blind clinical trials for further validation.关键词
