Abstract
Objective:To investigate the feasibility of head marking calibration to improve the positioning accuracy of head and neck neoplasms and reduce the position error in the setup process quality control.Methods:35 cases of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma were as the conventional method positioning group.35 cases of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma were as the improved positioning method group.The system error and random error of X,Y,Z axis in the two groups were compared. Results:The system error and random error of X,Y,Z axis in the improved positioning method group were (0.51 ± 1.23)mm, (-0.12±1.60)mm and (-0.78±1.41)mm respectively.The system error and random error of X,Y,Z axis in the conventional method positioning group were (0.35±1.39)mm,(0.01±2.19)mm and (-0.06±1.39)mm respectively.Conclusion:Improved positioning method for head marking calibration could reduce the position error of head and neck neoplasms and improve the positioning accuracy.关键词
