Abstract

Objective To develop an HPLC method for content determination of tubeimoside Ⅰ, t-ubeimoside Ⅱand tubeimoside Ⅲ in Bolbostemma paniculatum ( Maxim. ) Franquet. Methods The determination was carried out on a C18 column ( 250 mm × 4. 6 mm, 5 μm ) eluted with acetonitrile and water. The flow rate was 1. 0 mL/min, and the detected wavelength was set 214 nm. Results The peak ar-eas and the sample quantity of the three components had good linear relationship in the range of 1. 28~12. 8 μg for tubeimoside Ⅰ, 0. 241~2. 41 μg for tubeimoside Ⅱ and 0. 515~5. 15 μg for tubeimoside Ⅲ. The average recoveries were 99. 10%, 98. 95% and 98. 87%, respectively. Conclusion The method was proved to be simple, accurate and provided reference for comprehensive quality con-trol of Bolbostemma paniculatum ( Maxim. ) Franquet.
