Abstract
Objective To study the preventive effect of dexamethasone pretreatment on phlebitis induced by PICC and the nursing expe-rience. Methods 60 cases of patients with PICC received the dexamethasone pretreatment were randomized into the control group ( routine nursing ) and the observation group ( nursing intervention ) , 30 cases in each group. The two groups were performed dexametha-sone pretreatment. Results Compared with the control group, the incidence of phlebitis induced by PICC was significantly reduced in the observation group ( P < 0. 05 );the recovery time of phlebitis after treatment was obviously decreased in the observation group ( P <0. 05 );the patients′ satisfaction degree for nursing service was significantly improved in the observation group ( P < 0. 05 ) . Conclusion The nursing intervention during the dexamethasone pretreatment for PICC can effectively prevent the phlebitis reuced by PICC and im-prove the patients′ satisfaction degree.关键词
