Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical treatments of postmenopausal osteoporosis ( type I primary osteoporosis ) and compare the efficacy of different treatment options. Methods 160 patients with postmenopausal osteoporosis were treated with different treatment options in the hospital from March 2013 to September 2014, 80 patients of the observation group were given bisphosphonate+bone nutrients, while 80 patients of the control group were given hormone replacement therapy+bone nutrients. Results The fall risk index was ( 1. 24 ± 0. 45 ) points, bone mineral density was ( -1. 99 ± 0. 67 ) mg/cm3, and the overall response rate was 75. 00% in the ob-servation group, which were obviously better than ( 1. 83 ± 0. 64 ) points, ( -2. 15 ± 0. 58 ) mg/cm3, and 53. 75% of the control group, and the quality of life scores in the observation group was also better than that of the control group ( P < 0. 05 ) . Conclusion The combi-nation of bisphosphonate or hormone replacement therapy + bone nutrients, in conjunction with symptomatic treatment and rehabilita-tion training, can obviously increase bone mineral density, decrease fall risk, and improve the quality of life in postmenopausal osteoporo-sis patients.关键词
