Abstract
In order to further understand the influence factors of freshwater fish farmers’will to join professional cooperatives in China, this paper uses the binary Logit model to analyze their will to join the cooperatives based on the data of 96 households in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. Results show that the influence of education reaches 90% significant level; Familiarity about cooperatives, aquaculture history and culture area reaches 95% significant level; vocational training and government guidance reaches 99% significant level, the above are the key factors influencing the farmers to participate in fishery professional cooperatives. To sum up, the government should increase the farmers' human capital investment, carry out the farmers vocational education actively to improve the education level of the farmers,and actively guide the establishment of the fishery co-operatives. "large aquaculture households" should be encouraged to take the lead in establishing professional cooperatives, thus improve the motivation and participation enthusiasm of peripheral fishermen.Also, people-to-people exchanges and communication should be strengthened.关键词
