扶正解毒祛瘀方对大肠癌术后化疗增效减毒的作用
Fuzheng Jiedu Quyu on Postoperative Colorectal Cancer Chemotherapy Synergistic Effect

Abstract
Objective To investigate whether a medicinal herb prescription for Fuzheng Jiedu Quyu and the anticancer drug oxaliplatin cooperate in the treatment of colon cancer. Methods Oxaliplatin was used in the absence and presence of the herbal prescription in two colon cancer models, namely incubation of HT-29 hu?man colon cancer cells and athymic mice carrying HT-29 cells. In a separate experiment, LD50 values of oxalipa?tin and the herbal prescription were tested in normal mice. Results The LD50 of oxaliplatin was 17 mg/kg, which was higher than the doses we used[(6～10) mg/kg].The LD50 of herbal prescription was 131 g(of raw herbs)/kg, which was also higher than the doses (48 g/kg)we used. When used separately in cultured HT-29 cells, oxali?platin decreased cell population time-and dose-dependently. In addition, the anticancer effect of oxaliplatin was greater in the presence of the herbal prescription. Oxaliplatin also decreased tumor grafts made of HT-29 cells. Again, the anticancer effect of oxaliplatin in vivo was also enhanced in the presence of the herbal presciption. Conclusion The herbal prescription for Fuzheng Jiedu Quyu increases the anticancer effect of oxaliplatin in two colon cancer models.关键词
