Abstract
Abtsract:Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of Tuina manipulation combined with moxibustion on patients with lumbar disc herniation .Methods:100 patients with lumbar disc herniation were divided into an observation group and a control group ,with50 cases in each group .The Tuina manipulation combined with moxibustion was used in the observation group and the moxibustion was used in the control group ,with the treatment of 4 weeks. The clinical efficacy , positive rate of straight leg-raising test , visual analogue scale ( VAS) score and Japanese orthopaedic association ( JOA ) score were compared between two groups .Results:After treatment, the VAS score and positive rate of straight leg -raising test in the observation group were significantly lower than these in the control group ,and the difference had a statistically significant difference ( P<0 .05 ) .The JOA score in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group , and the difference had a statistically significant difference ( P<0 .05 ) .The clinical efficacy in the control group and the observation group was 84%(42/50) and 96%(48/50)respectively,and the difference had a statistically significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion:The Tuina manipulation combined with moxibustion for lumbar disc herniation can significantly re -lieve pain ,improve the waist and leg function and improve clinical curative effect .The effect is better than the pure Tuina manipulation treatment .关键词
