Abstract
The three-dimensional time-domain CFD approach was used to compute the acoustic attenuation performance of hybrid expansion chamber silencers. Firstly, the calculation principle and procedure of the three-dimensional time-domain CFD method was introduced. Then, the transmission loss of the hybrid expansion chamber silencers was predicted by this method, and good agreements among the time-domain approach results, measurement results and finite element method (FEM) results were observed. The numerical results demonstrate that the resistivity has an obvious influence on the acoustic attenuation performance of the hybrid expansion chamber silencers.关键词
