Study on Different Particle Diameters and Dissolution Profiles of Panax notoginseng

Abstract
Objective:To compare the particle size distribution and dissolution curves of cellwall-broken pieces of notoginseng,notoginseng common powder,notoginseng micropowder and notoginseng particles.Methods:The particle size distribution of cellwall-broken pieces of notoginseng,notoginseng common powder,notoginseng micropowder and notoginseng particles was detected.HPLC method was used for determination of three saponins including ginsenoside Rg1 and Rb1 , notoginsenoside R1 ,the dissolution curves were drawn.Results:The particle size distribution d(0.9)of cell-broken pieces of notoginseng,notoginseng common powder,notoginseng micropowder and notoginseng particles were 51.543,124.142, 27.760 and 107.539 μm,respectively.The dissolution rates exceeded 85% within 15 min.Conclusion:The dissolution curves of three saponins including ginsenoside Rg1 and Rb1 ,notoginsenoside R1 of cellwall-broken pieces of notoginseng, notoginseng common powder,notoginseng micropowder and notoginseng particles were similar.关键词
