Abstract

Picking labor is the main problem that restricts the development of Lonicera japonica planting indus -try, and has become an important research direction of the breeding of Lonicera japonica .Bud extended Loni-cera japonica (named Beihua 1) is a natural variation type from Damaohua of main cultivated variety in Shan-dong Pingyi .The agronomic traits of Beihua 1 have been stable after three consecutive years .In this study , Damaohua as the control cultivar , chemical constituents and main active components of Lonicerae japonicae flos were measured when Dabai stage buds of Beihua 1 are picked and dried samples on the 5 d, 7 d and 9 d. The results show that the overall HPLC specific chromatogram similarity between Beihua 1 and Damaohua cul-tivar reaches more than 0 .97 , suggesting that they have high similarity in chemical constituents .Chlorogenic acid and galuteolin contents of Lonicerae japonicae flos in Beihua 1 are significantly lower or higher than those of Damaohua cultivar, respectively.Chlorogenic acid content is the highest (2.25﹪) and galuteolin content reaches 0 .087﹪in Lonicerae japonicae flos of Dabai stage bud of Beihua 1 picked and dried samples on the 7 d.It is suggested that Beihua 1can be used as a substitute for Damaohua cultivar , and the application in production will greatly reduce the labor cost , which will benefit the healthy development of Lonicera japonica industry .
