Aquaporin：Effects on Intestinal Health Regulation
摘要
Abstract
Aquaporin ( AQP) , widely distributed in the gastrointestinal tissues of human and mammals, is a kind of plasma membrane channel protein that selectively transports water molecules efficiently, and plays im-portant roles in fluid transport and digestive physiology. This review focused on the structure and classifications of AQP, and its expression and distributions in the gastrointestinal tracts of human, rodents and piglets, and further discussed the relations and roles of AQP in the development of diarrhea, regulation on migration and re-pair of intestinal epithelial cells, intestinal barrier functions, and intestinal inflammation-associated disease.关键词
