摘要

Abstract

Fat mass and obesity associated ( FTO) gene is an allele related common obesity, and causes obesi-ty which is one of the biggest public health challenges around the world in the 21st century. FTO gene not only has a close relationship with obesity, but also is associated with hormone and gene expression in fat deposition and metabolism. This paper reviewed the FTO gene roles in adipocyte differentiation and fat metabolism, re-vealed the FTO gene effects on fatty deposits, with the aim of providing theoretical basis for animal fat metabo-lism mechanism.
