Analysis of Motivations and Influencial Factors of Graduate Students

摘要

Abstract

Objective:To analyze motivations and influencial factors of graduate students to deeply understand their study status and put preference for effectively carrying out management of postgraduate education .Methods:Using Simple Learning Motivation Scale and Eugene Innovation Scale ,we surveyed all the graduate students in a university . Results:The study motivation of most of the students was medium(57 5.% ) .It showed no difference in the motiva‐tions of different genders ,degrees ,sorts and age groups(χ2 = 1 .218 ,0 .372 ,4 .199 ,4 .666 ;P> 0 .05) ,but showed difference in the motivations of different specialties ,grades ,natures of specialty and lengths of services(χ2 =40 4.07 , 40 8.66 ,13 5.69 ,22 9.37 ;P<0 0.5) I.t also showed difference in innovations of the students with different motivations (χ2 =17 0.67 ,P=0 0.09)and the percentage of the"strong"innovation of the students was the highest in those with"medium"motivations(64 5.% ) .Conclusion:The level of motivation of the graduate students is general in middle , which is influenced by the specialties ,grades ,natures of specialty and lengths of services .As one non -intelligence factor ,motivation is connected with the intelligence factor(innovation) .
