Abstract
Some tire chain products with material of 10B21 steel in a factory failed to pass the tensile test, and the unqualified reasons were analyzed by a series of testing methods including macroscopic examination, chemical composition analysis,metallographic examination,hardness test and SEM analysis.The results show that the tire chains contained a certain amount of boron element.So,if the quench cooling rate was insufficient due to the high temperature of the cooling medium,bainite structures would generate.These bainite structures would lead to a great decline in tensile load of the tire chains.关键词
