立式轴流泵装置流道内部流动特性及消涡试验
Analysis on the Vortex Flows and Vortex Suppression Schemes of Cube-type Inlet Passage for Pumping System

Abstract
In order to analyze the hydraulic characteristics of the cube-type inlet passage,numerical simulation and high-speed photography had been done.Submerged vortex occurs under the flare tube.Submerged vortex trajectory of an inlet passage was captured successfully based on a numerical simulation,which is the same as the observed results by high-speed photography.The numerical simulation prediction results are effective.Compared with the cube-type inlet passage without vortex-elimination device, the axial velocity distribution uniformity at the exit section of suction passage was improved by 0.423% averagely,and the veloci-ty-weighted average swirl increased by 0.397°averagely in different operating conditions.New vortex-elimination devices with zig-zag bar were designed,which can eliminate submerged vortex in different operating conditions.This research has an important en-gineering value for stable operation of pump stations with the cube-type inlet passage.关键词
