Enhancing Efforts to Protect Geological Relic and Pushing Ahead Rational Development and Utilization
摘要
Abstract
This paper first introduces the main methods and experiences applied in protecting China’s geological relics. These include:strengthening the leadership of the Party, making plan in a scientiifc way, stepping up government investment in this area, engaging in major efforts to make the signiifcance of protection of geological relics known.However, we are also confronted with many problems in the work of protecting geological relics.The economic foundationfor geological relic protection is weak,less attention is paid to, the construction of geological museum can't relfect its own characteristics, and science educational function is below its weight.In response to this, the protection must be the focus of our efforts to developing geological traces as a tourism resource,making a thorough investigation of the economic foundation for geological relic resources, strengthening education and publicity as well as professional training for both the managers of geo-park and the service staff,and enhancing efforts to international exchange.关键词
