Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of metformin combined with vildagliptin on endocrine, glucose and lipid metabolism in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome ( PCOS) complicated with abnor-mal glucose metabolism.Methods Seventy-six patients of PCOS with abnormal glucose metabolism were randomly divided into control group (n=38) and treatment group (n=38).Control group was received met-formin 0.5 g, oral, tid.In addition to the treatment of control group, the treatment group was plused vildagliptin 50 mg, oral, qd.Two groups were treated for 6 months.Compared the changes of endocrine, glucose and lipid metabolism before and after treatment in two groups.Results After treatment, serum testosterone levels were significantly lower than those before treatment in two groups, and the treatment group reduced more significantly than control group ( P<0.05 ) , but the other targets showed no significant changes in endocrine index ( P >0.05 ).After treatment, fasting blood glucose, 2 h postprandial blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin in two groups were significantly reduced, treat-ment group reduced more significant ( P <0.05 ).After treatment,glycated hemoglobin standard rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of control group (86.84%vs 71.05%, P<0.05 ).After treatment, triglycerides, low -density lipoprotein cholesterol in the treatment group decreased significantly than those before treatment ( P <0.05 ) , but the control group did not change significantly (P>0.05).One case of low blood sugar reaction appeared in each group without statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion Metformin combine with vildagliptin can effectively improve the levels of endocrine, sugar and fat metabolism in patients of polycystic ovary syndrome ( PCOS) with abnormal glucose metabolism, which is effective and safe.关键词
